All nominated candidates for this Honorary award, will go through a review and evaluation process by GILMS, to ensure that only those who meet the criteria are given the award. When considering a candidate for an honorary doctorate, GILMS will consider, among other things, an individual’s outstanding contribution and achievements in terms of culture or to persons who have otherwise contributed to the welfare of humanity. All Honorary awardees will become Members of the GILMS Alumni, a group of successful people, and an opportunity to network with such outstanding people.

- The GILMS Board of Directors holds final authority over all approvals and conferments.
