GILMS Prime Laurette Award – Inaugural Launch

Every year, we celebrate excellence. We honour entrepreneurs, organisations, innovators, and leaders who have achieved remarkable success in their respective fields.

However, tonight, we present a recognition that stands above all others.

The GILMS PRIME LAUREATE is the Institution’s highest and most distinguished honour. It is not presented simply because someone has built a successful business or received international recognition. Rather, it is reserved for an individual whose life’s work has created an enduring legacy—one that has transformed industries, uplifted communities, inspired future generations, and exemplified leadership with integrity and purpose.

The Laureate is awarded only each year.

Our independent Awards Council undertakes a rigorous evaluation based on five defining pillars: Vision, Influence, Integrity, Legacy, and Humanity. Every nominee undergoes careful assessment, and only when the Council is unanimously satisfied that these exceptional standards have been met will the Laureate be conferred.

This evening, we are proud to honour an individual whose achievements extend far beyond personal success. Through visionary leadership, global influence, and an unwavering commitment to empowering others, this remarkable leader has built a legacy that will continue to inspire long into the future.

It is our distinct honour to confer the GILMS PRIME LAUREATE 2026, the Institution’s highest honour, upon Dato’ Dr. Zairita Azlin Binti Mohd Rajili

CONGRATULATIONS

“Tonight, a new chapter in the history of GILMS is written. Dato’ Dr. Zairita Azlin becomes the inaugural GILMS PRIME LAUREATE, and her name will be permanently inscribed in the GILMS PRIME Laureate Hall of Fame as the first recipient of the Institution’s highest honour.”
