Dr. Boehnert obtained his medical and dental degrees from Friedrich Alexander University, Germany, followed by specialized training in visceral and transplant surgery at the University of Berne, Switzerland. He further honed his expertise as a clinical fellow at Toronto General Hospital’s Multi-Organ Transplant Program. His academic credentials include a PhD from Semmelweis University, Hungary, and an MBA from Leuphana University, Germany.
Currently, Dr. Boehnert serves as the Director of the Living Donor Liver Transplant Program at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center, Riyadh. He is also an Associate Professor of Surgery at Erasmus University, Rotterdam, where he mentors future medical leaders. His research focuses on organ preservation, ischemia-reperfusion injury, and machine perfusion technologies, earning him prestigious grants, including multi-million-dollar funding from Saudi Arabia’s National Science, Technology, and Innovation Plan.

Dr. Md Misbahul Ferdous, PhD, Cardiology
Dr. Md Misbahul Ferdous is a highly accomplished interventional cardiologist with extensive experience in cardiovascular diagnostics, treatment, and research. Holding a PhD in Cardiology from Shandong University School of Medicine and serving as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Peking Union Medical College, Beijing, Dr. Ferdous has established himself as a leader in the field. His expertise spans a wide range of interventional procedures, including diagnostic catheterization, transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI), intravascular ultrasound (IVUS/OCT), fractional flow reserve (FFR/IFR), and percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). He is also proficient in advanced echocardiography techniques such as TTE, TEE, TSE, and DSE.
Dr. Ferdous has held prestigious fellowships at renowned institutions, including Fuwai Hospital in Beijing and Ageo Central General Hospital in Japan. During his tenure, he managed complex cases, performed intricate procedures, and worked with hemodynamic support devices like Impella and IABP. His clinical acumen extends to advanced heart failure management, cardiac imaging (CT and MRI), and ICD/pacemaker programming.
A dynamic leader, Dr. Ferdous has served in key roles such as Deputy Director of the Kunming Yundi Behavior and Health Research Center, Vice President of the Asia Pacific Primary Health Association, and Vice President of the Asian Society of Cardiology. He has also led international clinical surveys, coordinating efforts across 216 hospitals in nine countries. His editorial contributions include serving as an Associate Editor for the US Cardiology Review Journal and authoring high-impact research papers in leading journals such as CELLS (Impact Factor: 7.66) and Advances in Therapy (Springer Nature, Impact Factor: 3.8).
Dr. Ferdous is a sought-after speaker, having presented at over 40 international conferences, including the prestigious TCT 2019 in the USA. Dr Mustafa Ali Mohd
Dr. Mustafa was a professor in the Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He was also the Deputy Dean, faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya, and then as Deputy Director of University of Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC).
As an academic, he was promoted to Professor grade A (JUSA A) in the University of Malaya and he was awarded Fellow of the Malaysian Academy of Science and he was also awarded Top Research Scientist of Malaysia in 2012 by the same academy. Prior to this, he was also awarded Excellent scientist award by the Malaysian Ministry of Education in 2005.
He was also in the panel member of consultants to the World Health Organisation (WHO) in several occasions to help in major world crisis such as during the global contamination of melamine in food and food products, and also on issues pertaining to the use and safety of bisphenol A in babies feeding bottles.
He was appointed as a Member of College of Experts Reviewers, European Foundation of Science (EFS). He is an academic advisor to HESTIC (Health, Environment, Science, Technology International Consultant), Tokyo, Japan. He is the founder member, Senior consultant and Director of the Shimadzu UMMC Centre for Xenobiotics Studies in the Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya.
Since the early years of his career he has conducted extensive research in various disciplines such as Herbal Medicine, toxicology, drugs of abuse, food safety, environmental Health, occupational health, analytical techniques in identification of toxic chemicals and endocrine disrupting chemicals. He was also National Project coordinator for the “United Nations University on Environmental monitoring, analysis and governance in East Asia: Technology Transfer” based in Tokyo, Japan. He was also a member of the Malaysian National Food Safety council.

Dr. Effat Un Nesa holds a Ph.D. in Radiation Oncology from Qilu Hospital, affiliated with Shandong University Cheeloo College of Medicine.
As a Radiation Oncologist, she provides comprehensive clinical care to patients, specializing in advanced radiation techniques such as external beam radiotherapy, intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT), and stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT). She has had the privilege of serving a diverse community, ensuring both personal and professional fulfillment in patient care.
In her role, she develops and prescribes individualized treatment plans for cancer patients, closely monitors their progress, and makes necessary adjustments to ensure they receive high-quality care throughout their treatment journey.
